We design, supply and install cathodic protection works for tanks – for iron boats and ships – offshore platforms – pipelines
Cathodic protection is a method of preventing corrosion on the outer surfaces of buried or immersed ferrous metal equipment or concrete by making them the negative electrodes of an electrical circuit.
Cathodic protection is used to protect steel pipelines, tanks, steel structures, ships, offshore oil docks, and oil well liners. By making the metal object to be protected from corrosion a negative cathode relative to the surrounding soil / the surrounding electrolyte and by passing electric current from the positive electrode (anode) through the soil / electrolyte surrounding the buried steel object to complete the electrical circuit and thus protect the steel metal from corrosion
